JOIN A COMMITTEE
CASA Advisory Board
In a nonprofit CASA/GAL program, the governing body serves as the link between the program, the court, and the community. The Board establishes and evaluates the program's goals, develops resources, and approves policies.
Information and Education Committee
Develops clear concise, talking points for a consistent message.
Provides local media with consistent ongoing press releases.
Develops a targeted PR Packet for intended audience (i.e. board recruitment, committee participation).
Develops a plan for presentations in the community.
Fund Development Committee
Develops an annual Fund Development plan and monitor its implementation.
Solicits funds and other resources, develops funding sources and evaluates Fund Development success.
Reports its activities on a regular basis to the CASA Advisory Board.
Special Events Committee
The main responsibility of the Special Event committee is to organize, coordinate, and execute short term events from the Fund development plan.
The Special Events Committee shall work closely with all Committees in furtherance of all events including but not limited to: Swearing in Ceremony and Annual Volunteer Recognition Event and fund raising events.
