Lisa Thompson, CASA Director
Lisa Thompson has been with CASA of Warren and Forest Counties since its start up in 2004. She received Certification in Computer Technology from Erie 2 BOCES. She is originally from Chautauqua County NY. Before starting with CASA she was the Parent Service Director at at the YWCA of Jamestown. Lisa also was the Weed and Seed Safe Haven Coordinator, at the Jamestown Boys and Girls Club. Currently Mrs. Thompson serves on the Pennsylvania CASA Board of Directors. She also is the president of the board of directors for the House of Hope in Warren. She lives with her husband Wally in Russell PA along with her 3 dogs 5 cats and a pygmy goat. Her daughter, Amy, graduated from Eisenhower High School and received her Bachelors' in psychology from St. Bonaventure university. Amy and her son, Jackson, reside in Chautauqua County.
Dennis Johnson, Chair
President: Hem-View Consultants
A retired sport coach and educator, he spent 20 years in the WCSD as a physical education teacher-coach and 16 years as sport management professor and cross country coach at Wingate University (NC). He currently is a consultant with the National Wrestling Coaches Association facilitating CEO Leadership Academies for high school and college coaches. He earned a doctoral degree in Exercise and Sport Science from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
Susan G. Swab, Co-Chair
Sue Swab is a retired registered nurse from Warren State Hospital. She has Bachelor's and Master’s degree in health services administration. Sue has served on the board of the American Cancer Society and currently is president of the League of Women Voters of Warren County. She has volunteered for Area Agency on Aging for several years, along with other various agencies. CASA is very import to her - she believes in its mission and work.
Melissa Johnson, Treasurer
Contract Specialist for the US Department of Agriculture-Forest Service
Originally from Marienville, PA she holds a BS from Clarion University and an MBA from Gannon University. She is married to Dennis Johnson and the mother of two children.
Mark Krumm, Secretary
Mark Krumm retired from Superior Tire & Rubber Corp as a Business Systems Administrator. Mark attended Jamestown Community College and Slippery Rock State College, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Health and Physical Education. Mark’s initial employment was with the Warren County School District as a substitute teacher along with coaching four separate sports. A return to school paved the way for Mark to be hired as the Data Processing Manager by Superior Tire. While Mark has remained single to date, he has remained interested in sports and has been a constant part of his sisters and their family’s lives. We hope that his life time experiences
will benefit CASA’s goal to “Speak Up for a Child” when needed.
